The Atayal Resort is located in Guoxing Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. It is centered around the culture of the Atayal people, one of Taiwan's indigenous ethnic groups. The resort features numerous buildings that symbolize Atayal cultural characteristics and early tribal architecture for visitors to explore, as well as exciting performances of indigenous dances. In addition to its Atayal cultural focus, the resort integrates recreation, accommodation, hot springs, ecology, camping, and barbecue facilities, earning it the reputation of being a comprehensive vacation and leisure destination.
The resort features a skywalk with an elevation of up to 500 meters. Visitors can experience the thrill of walking on transparent reinforced glass and enjoy breathtaking views from above, as well as take in the beautiful scenery of the overlapping mountain ridges, leaving a lasting impression. If you prefer to connect with nature, you can choose to explore the ecological trails within the resort. Atayal Hot Springs is currently the only hot spring in the Nantou Guoxing area that has obtained a legal hot spring certification. Not only does it have the endorsement of government quality standards, but its bicarbonate spring water also has moisturizing effects on the skin. After enjoying the hot springs, visitors can stay at the grand Atayal Palace Hotel, which is styled in Baroque architecture. The overall grandeur and opulence make you feel as though you're experiencing the luxury of European royalty. There are also vacation cabins available, built entirely from natural wood. The camping area can accommodate more than 1,000 people and park more than 100 RV cars. If you want to experience accommodation that is different from the room type, you may wish to recommend a company group trip or a gathering of family and friends to enjoy outdoor camping. This is definitely your only choice.
Atayal Resort features numerous barbecue areas throughout the park. Whether for school groups or family outings, there are plenty of suitable spots for visitors to enjoy grilling. If you find that your own equipment or food is insufficient, or if you want to try different flavors offered by the resort, there is a shop within the barbecue area where you can find all the necessary equipment and supplies!
